Club Space has been a bastion for electronic dance music in Miami for over a decade, a world renowned venue for its huge acts, energetic crowds, and laaaaaaate nights (parties often run until noon THE NEXT DAY). This Labor Day weekend marks the first time the venue will close its door for an extended period of time (no fears, its for renovations!) and they are making sure they go out in style…
This is going to be an all night, all the next day party that promises to make up for the time Space will be closed!

Summer anywhere can leave you hot and bothered, but only summer in Miami leaves you Haute & Bothered!
To celebrate the fashionable near nakedness and sexual hormonal spikes of Miami’s naughtiest season (whatever tourists and winter, locals get really scandalous during the summer), Overthrow’s Troy Kurtz made a mix that perfectly fits the sins of the city during the summer. Sophisticated bass, exclusive remixes, and sexy blends make this mix the one to drop when the heat becomes to much to bear without bearing a little more skin.
Wynwood’s gallery/lounge CAFEINA plays host to the official release party of this mix with Troy playing an extended Haute & Bothered set, and guest sets by Corey Sleazemore and Damaged Goods. To keep you cool and quench your thirst, we will be having drink specials all night.
From the Daily Show to Important Things, comic Demetri Martin has brought the absurd idiosyncrasies we accept as everyday to the forefront with a dry and witty sense of humor, a piano, and a giant easel pad.
This Friday see Demetri LIVE at the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater and start your night off with a strong drink and heavy dose of irony.
Afterparty down the street, Misfit Friday at Louis in the Gansevoort South.
Then on Saturday, there is another sort of show:
Hip hop and reggae share the same rhythmic roots and lyrical styles, with a passionate and persevering poetic style that continues to evolve and grow. The two genres have often overlapped, but never before have they intertwined like this:
The diabolical brains behind Overthrow bring you a video teaser of their upcoming mission to Sloppyville ATL… soundtrack featuring our trapstep dons, Heroes&Villains (aka DJ Meganfoxxx).
Join us this This Saturday for a night of blood, sweat, & bass as The O-Team’s Tamara Sky, Troy Kurtz!, and Damaged Goods turn Atlanta’s fabled MJQ into the den of sin you know it is.
I pity the fool who don’t bring a change of underwear!
Important Bulletin:
The vigilante group known as OVERTHROW (aka THE O-TEAM) are planning their most ambitious, diabolical, and debaucherous scheme to date. With the entire team of operatives set to converge on Atlanta, Georgia at 21:00 hours on SATURDAY 8/14/10, advanced measures are needed to prepare for this must be taken.

Sonic C is a true Miami prodigy. Born and raised in the Magic City, the youngest person signed to Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, the teenager can’t legally get into most of the venues he’s playing, including his gig this Friday at Louis.
Sonic C has made some of the biggest tracks of the past year with everyone from Laidback Luke to Diplo to Atrak dropping his tunes as staples of their sets.
Catch him this week at Louis alongside resident Damaged Goods and a special swimwear week party with The Daily Front Row, Campins, Chris Smith, and Spin Galactic.
Misfit Friday, where sonic meets swimwear.
What a great fucking combo.

This is what happened last time we brought D.I.M. to town.
Mega producer and festival fixture D.I.M. will be coming to Miami and setting off a bag of electro dance fireworks a day early July 3rd at Electric Pickle. Don’t blame him for the wrong date, he’s from Europe.
Also featuring DJ sets by Damaged Goods, Troy Kurtz, and Pirate Stereo.
The fireworks are really going to be going off as the explosive electronic sounds of the legendary Laidback Luke blast through downtown Miami’s most insane 24 hour music madhouse SPACE.
Joining him will be the mega DJ duo TKO (Damaged Goods+Troy Kurtz) and Poplife chieftan Aramis Lorie.
