Nero, the last Roman Emperor, who ascended the throne at age 13, is most famously known as the ruler who “played the fiddle as Rome burned”.
Today, in the same spirit of soundtracking destruction, Overthrow is proud to present the American debut of dub step and drum n bass mega-duo NERO!
Performing in NYC for their first time in the states before heading to Miami to perform at ULTRA Music Festival in front of nearly 100,000 electronic music fans, NERO is going to show how they have become some the biggest names in heavy bass and rapid pace across the pond.
Also there (possibly for visa reasons) will be Overthrow DJ Damaged Goods, Trouble & Bass’s The Captain, and Method’s Dave Gee.
With a line up like that and a venue like (Le) Poisson Rouge, it’s going to be a heavy hitting night in the streets of New Amsterdam.
Advance tickets available here.

French electronic duo Air come to Miami for the first show in the city Saturday. If you haven’t realized by now, the French and electronic music go together like ham and chesse sandwiches and sunny side up eggs. Wait, is that another French reference to the delicious cafe dish croque madame? Oui!
Saturday, unwind to the beautiful, sexy, and laid back sounds of Air as they perform live at the Fillmore Miami Beach.
After you’re all chilled out, turn it up and head to the White Room for Craze at Arcade Saturday.
The pride of Miami, Craze returns with his signture sound of pork searing bangers and enough bass to cook your eardrums. Thats referencing his record label Slow Roast, whose logo of a pig sporting an elvis like pompadour haircut is pretty much everything cool about anything ever. Its like Porky’s meets Grease except the music is a lot better then John Travolta singing to Olivia Newton John and there are no naked girls in cabins. Yet.
Wait, where are we? Oh yeah, Craze.
The World DMC pimp joins Damaged Goods, Troy Kurtz!, and Juan Basshead in the White Room as DJ Kusto and the Archetype dudes mash it up in the Red Room.
Drinks are 2 for 1 before 12, Red Stripe Lights continue all night, and mention this RSVP for reduced admission.
Arcade Saturday - Come play.
