Italy’s recent electro renaissance has catapulted banger after banger out into the world at large,  spawning the likes of Crookers & Bloody Beetroots.  The latest edition to this superpower is Milan’s Congorock who followed his Beetroot brethren to reside in LA, subsequently finding a home in Fool’s Gold Records. A few month’s ago, Overthrow debuted Congorock to Miami during his “More Fire” tour and the release of his brand new single “Babylon.” Fast forward to now, Congorock is fresh off his world tour and Babylon is your favorite dj’s go-to track. Perfect timing for Atlanta to get a dose of this new renaissance.

There may even be some Miami girls we all know and love who make an appearance! Tamara Sky voted Miami New Times “Best DJ 2010″

A celebration is underway at the Overthrow Castle.

Hitting newsstands today, our very own globe-trotting temptress, Tamara Sky, has just received the local title as Miami New Times “Best DJ 2010,” making her the first female winner in all the land of disc jocks.  Before even having a chance to pop the tag off the crown, Tamara has broken an even radder record as the most provocative winner of any “Best Of” category in the history of Miami New Times. DJ nerd forums have have gone apeshit: psychoanalyzing her dj credentials, background check, citizenship papers, auditing her live mixtapes on repeat in search of a single train-wreck, and subsequently driving even more fame into the new queen’s cache.

Tamara, our hats will forever be tipped to you.  As for her new committee of anti-groupies, the verdict is right under your nose:

“This girl will eat all your hate and shit out gold. So keep it coming…”
